Do you want to learn how to safely practice Yin and Yang Yoga poses without getting injured?

Do you want to understand and get to know your body in a fun and practical way?

Do you want to know how to beneficially adapt Yoga Poses to your body?

And have you ever wondered why you can’t do a certain yoga pose, even though you have been practicing it for a long time?


Then this workshop is for you!


Learning the anatomy of your body and understanding how your body functions is essential for your yoga practice. It teaches you how to strengthen and move your body in a safe and non-injurious way.


During these 5 days you will learn basic anatomy in a practical and fun way, enabling you to recognize and apply it directly into your personal Yin and Yang Yoga practice.

Therefore each day ends with a guided Yin-Yang Yoga class, in which you can experiment and play with your newfound knowledge.

 

 

What you will learn:
- Skeleton: bones, joint and movements
- Muscles and muscle groups (of the torso and legs)
- Practical concepts to help understand the physical obstacles and difficulties within a Yin and Yang Yoga practice
- Body tests to find out your range of movement, possibilities and impossibilities while doing yoga poses
- Analysis of Yin and Yang Yoga poses and going through various adaptions for them
- A daily guided yin-yang yoga class

Let's personalize the basic Yin and Yang yoga poses together, enabling you to practice yoga joyfully without injuries!

26th till 30th of September 2018: 09:00H - 17:00H 

* In the morning and afternoon there will be a 15-minute break.

* Lunch break 13:00 - 14:00.



Suitable for:

-      All yoga teachers, yoga practitioners and practitioners of various sports, who would like to gain more insight into their body.



Language:

Depending on the participating students, the Master class will be given in English or Dutch.


By joining this training, you will receive a 50 hrs certificate that is recognized by Yoga Alliance. You can use this for your YACEP hours (continuing education), provided that you already are an 200 or 500 hour certified teacher (RYT). For more information, check the Yoga Alliance website. Note: This certificate is not a 50 hrs yin yoga certificate that eventually counts into a 200 hour certificate.
