Yang Yoga

Powerful, focused and infinite possibilities.

Yang Yoga is an effective way to strengthen, tone and stretch your entire body. It enhances your digestion, deepens your breath, relaxes your mind and expands your consciousness. You will feel more energetic, more flexible, stronger and less stressed.
Yang Yoga is suitable for anyone who wants to feel fitter and more energetic.

The name 'Yang Yoga' is used to refer to all dynamic styles of yoga such as: Hatha/Vinyasa, Vini, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Anusara, Kundalini, Power, etc. The goal of these types of yoga is to build internal heat using Ujjayi breath (pranayama) and dynamic sequences consisting of repetitive movements (asanas) which strengthens, lengthens and tones muscles. Yang Yoga however doesn´t target or reach the connective and cartilaginous tissues (fascia, joints, ligaments or tendons) as much as Yin Yoga does. As connective tissue is more rigid it needs a different approach than the more elastic tissues of our bodies like muscles.

Yin
and Yang Yoga are different styles but complement each other in reaching their common goal: to purify, balance and harmonize our bodies and mind. But most of all to enable us to tune in with our true nature so that the energy within and around us can flow freely.

It is essential to remember that no two bodies are alike, and that our needs vary from day to day. A key part of yoga practice is to develop awareness which helps you to observe your daily needs (mentally, emotionally and physically) so you can choose and adapt your yoga practice to them.
If your body, for example, is very flexible and you find it difficult to connect with your muscles, you might want to practice more Yang and less Yin Yoga. The same counts, of course, for opposite situations.
