From Stagnation to Lightness - Yin yoga for hips, side body, rib cage, neck, skull & a clear mind

 

Do you feel stuck, tense, low in energy — and restless or irritated at the same time? You want to move forward, but something blocks you. But you actually long to feel lighter. More open. More free.

 

In this 3-class package, I invite you to slow down and consciously release what's been building — physically, emotionally, and mentally. Creating space. In your body. In your mind. In the way you relate to yourself. Into movement, openness, lightness — and hopefully even joy.

 

Spring and summer carry a palpable energy of renewal and expansion. In this package, we tap into that energy and harmonise it within you. Through Yin yoga and gentle playful Yang flows, breathwork, acupressure, awareness, and meditation. Supporting the natural flow of blood, lymph, and Chi through your body — easing tension in the hips and side body, PMS, headaches, irritability, and that flat, foggy feeling that's hard to name.

 

Not to fix anything — but to restore flow. So that ease and spaciousness can find you. And within that space, endless possibilities.

✨ April 17th – Class 1: Physical & Emotional Detox​

Do you notice tension that has settled deep in your body? In your emotions? You feel irritable, heavy, or just done. Instead you long to slow down, breathe, and meet yourself with compassion. Creating space for what needs to move through.


Through gentle movement, pranayama, awareness, and acupressure with balls, you stimulate blood, lymph, and Chi flow. Yin poses target the hips, side body, and rib cage along the Liver and Gallbladder meridian pathways. You release the neck and base of the skull. You ease what's been building — stiffness, PMS, headaches, that foggy, blurred feeling.


Beyond the physical: you become aware of the words you say to yourself — and practice letting go of the convictions that reinforce tension. So it can move through instead of staying stuck.


A practice of non-reacting, allowing, and deep release.

Required Props: 2 blocks, belt, 4 tennis balls, 2 socks, blanket, bolster and pillow.

 

✨ May 29th – Class 2: From Stagnation to Free Flow

Do you recognize that feeling of something in you wanting to move — but it keeps getting blocked? Frustration. Self-doubt. The inner critic. What you long for is to feel open, free, and expressed.


Through Yin poses and flowing dynamic movement, you create heat, enhance circulation, and stimulate Chi flow through the Liver and Heart meridians. You open the rib cage, diaphragm, side body, upper belly, and upper back. As these areas soften, the breath deepens and the heart space begins to open.


Alongside the movement, you're invited to question the thoughts and beliefs that create tension. What happens when you stop gripping onto what you believe is true? Body and breath find their natural freedom. And whatever has been waiting to be expressed begins to flow.

A practice of softening resistance, questioning the inner critic, and moving into openness.

✨ Jun 19th – Class 3: Ready to Shine​

Do you feel ready to play? To explore what's possible when you've cleared, softened, and opened? This class is a celebration. Of joy. Strength. And the freedom to be fully yourself.


A playful, dynamic Yang flow — building strength and confidence in the core, shoulders, upper back, and arms. Moving. Flowing. Expanding. Then we slow back down. Yin poses, relaxation, and cooling breath. Letting body, mind, and energy integrate.

 

We close with a guided meditation — exploring what you want to welcome into your life. With an open focus, you connect to the space where everything is possible. Not defined by the past. But present. Alive. Free.
