Tension release in Extremities: Yin yoga for hands, wrists, neck, jaw, eyes & feet

In these three Yin Yoga classes we will release tension from the areas we so often neglect: the feet, hands, wrists, neck, jaw, and eyes. Especially if you spend long hours at the computer, notice screen fatigue, headaches, tinnitus, jaw clenching, or cold hands and feet, these classes are for you

By consciously tending to these areas with Yin poses, Acupressure, Reiki, Pranayama, and Meditation, you’ll enhance blood, lymph, and Chi circulation, soothe your nervous system, ease strain, and leave you feeling nourished and calm.

 

✨ October 31st – Nourishing Feet, Ankles & Legs (book single class) 

​Do your feet feel tired, cold, tense, or your legs lack vitality? Then this Yin yoga class is for you. You’ll nourish, release tension and enhance Chi and blood circulation in the lower body, through Yin poses, acupressure and a gentle foot massage. This doesn’t only support relief, but also nurtures the plantar fascia, Achilles tendons, calves, and the meridian pathways of the legs and feet. 

 

Required Props: 2 blocks, bolster, blanket.

 

✨ November 21st – Releasing Fingers, Hands, Wrists & Shoulders (book single class) 

Perfect if you experience tightness from computer work, cold hands, sore wrists, or tensed shoulders. This class gently stretches, compresses, and opens the upper body to ease discomfort, stimulate blood circulation and bring renewed energy. It also supports conditions such as carpal tunnel, tennis elbow, or frozen shoulder.

 

Required Props: blocks, bolster or pillow, blanket, 2 socks & 4 tennis balls.

 

✨ December 12th – Softening Neck, Jaw & Eyes (book single class) 

A deeply restorative session for those carrying stress in the jaw, neck, or eyes. Creating pressure on certain acupuncture points will stimulate a deep myofascial release to ease headaches, soften jaw tension, and relax eye strain.

 

Required Props: 4 tennis balls, 2 socks, blocks, belt, bolster or pillow, blanket.
